But recently, we've had several customers walk through our doors with suspension parts that simply didn't fit their vehicle—because an AI confidently told them they would.
The frustrating part?... The answers often sound convincing.
The Problem Isn't AI. It's Missing Information.
A Jeep isn't just a Jeep.
A Bronco isn't just a Bronco.
A Silverado isn't just a Silverado.
Every vehicle has variables that dramatically affect parts selection, including:
Previous owner modifications
Wheel offset and backspacing
Tire size and actual measured diameter
Suspension brand and lift height
Shock travel
Axle type
Gear ratio
Trim package
Aftermarket bumpers, winches, armor, and spare tire carriers
Intended use—mall parking lot or Moab?
AI usually doesn't know any of that.

Those details matter.
The same question can have several correct answers depending on the vehicle sitting in front of you.

AI is designed to generate the most probable response based on the information it has available. If the information is incomplete, it often produces an answer that sounds authoritative—even when critical assumptions are wrong.

AI is one of the best learning tools ever created.
Use it to understand suspension geometry.
Use it to learn what caster is.
Use it to compare axle ratios.
Use it to generate questions you hadn't considered.
Then let someone who can physically inspect your vehicle verify the final answer.
That combination is incredibly powerful.

But there is still no substitute for putting a Jeep, Bronco, or truck on a lift, measuring components, checking clearances, identifying previous modifications, and understanding how that specific vehicle is actually built.
